It was the fall of 1994, the previous owner of the Lake Avenue Salvatore's offered Sam, the 17 yr old St. John Fisher college student a shift manager position at his 4000 Lake Avenue Salvatore's location.  Sam had good managerial skills and great passion for food.  Sam in his daily busy life between college, work and home did not care how much time and effort a good meal would take to be on his later dinner table as long as it was up to his high standards. Working at Salvatores did not make Sam's daily life any easier, because it wasn't long before he got the night shift cook fired and became the location's key cook! 

Ten months later, Sam and his brother Hassan Alsafadi purchased the Lake Avenue location and are still operating it until this day.  After Sam graduated from college, him and his brother wanted to expand and open more Salvatore's locations. The aim was a location on West Ridge Road in Greece but they never managed to get their hands on a great spot with reasonable lease.  With the help of 'Soccer' Sam Fantauzzo, they found the location at 2496 West Ridge Road and a deal was finalized in the spring of 2008. 

The fanciest upscale pizzeria in town opened its doors on the 25th day of August 2008. Please visit us!
