LOCAL PIZZERIA RANKS IN THE TOP 200 NATIONWIDE

Salvatore's Old Fashioned Pizzeria is the only locally owned Rochester pizza chain ranked in the top 200 in the 2008 PMQ Pizza Magazine rankings, as published in their September 2008 issue. Salvatore's was ranked 158 out of close to 80,000 pizza chains in America. Salvatore Fantauzzo, founder and CEO of Salvatore's, attributes the success to five components:

2. An amazing ownership group (Board of Directors).
3. An extremely devoted staff with very low turn over.
4. Our ever expanding and loyal customer base.
5. Local distribution-commissary providing each location with exact products.

Fantauzzo attributes PMQ's decision on the volume of sales throughout the company which is attributed to the store's selling philosophy:
