SALVATORE PIZZA FAMILY PURCHASES LOCAL LANDMARK
Donuts Delite closed their doors in 2005 and many national chains had tried to purchase the property with plans to level it. Fantauzzo, who started the Salvatore's family business over 30 years ago, understood the dedication that Bob Malley and his family put into the business for over 50 years. Fantauzzo knew he wanted to be part of the restoration of this amazing building that has been part of the Rochester culture. Salvatore's newest location will open early for breakfast, coffee and donuts of course! Coraggioso plans on opening by July 4th,2009 and is inviting past owners and staff to the historic re-opening. LoRe says we are the family born and raised in Rochester, NY and proud of it and now we own a piece of Rochester history! The Salvatore's Old Fashioned Pizzeria Family is proud to announce that they have purchased the historic Donuts Delite building in Rochester on Culver Road at Empire Blvd. & Clifford Ave. The new owners will be Salvatore's CEO Salvatore "Soccer Sam" Fantauzzo, President John Coraggioso and Board of Director Ray LoRe. All 3 owners grew up going to Donuts Delite with their families and John used to pick up donuts for his employees on East Main Street.
